Trails
2-15-13 - This weeks warm temps aren't doing the trails any good. We have groomed some this week and want to do the rest
late Friday night for the weekend. Mother nature just doesn't seem to want to cooperate. The trails will be thin in many
spots. Also have heard that the surrounding towns have groomed as well with the same conditions.
1-21-13 - Because of the
warm weather a week ago and only about 3 inches of snow this month, we haven't been able to do any grooming. Hopefully we get
some snow soon, possibly Friday. Make sure you know the lakes before venturing out as there haven't been many out riding on
them. Ride right, ride sober and ride safe.
1-10-13 - With the upcoming warm weather, we have made the decision
not to continue with grooming until we receive more snow. The trails will have many bare spots after this warm spell (near 50
degrees on Sunnday) which makes grooming hard on the grooming equipment. Sorry for the inconvenience but Mother Nature doesn't
seem to want to cooperate. Please stay off the lakes as they still aren't very safe yet.
1-4-13 -The
only grooming we have done is ITS89 and are planning on doing ITS80 Friday morning. They are fair at best as there are still
a lot of water bars that we haven't had enough snow to fill. Our club trails still need more snow and most lead to the lakes
that are not safe to travel yet.
12-28-12 - Trails have so many water issues that it is NOT recommended that people ride until
things freeze up. Groomers went out today and encountered water holes that they couldn't even get the groomer through.
The water hole behind NAPA is over 2 feet deep.
