Blaine suggested having a Texas Holdem Tournament for our summer fund raiser. We would need a license. We could borrow the chips. We could also sell burgers, etc. We have permission to hold it at the Bridgton Community Center. Treasurer would have to open a separate checking account just for this event. We would have to tell state what money is spent for - fuel. Only time Bridgton Communcity Center is available is Saturday afternoon.
Next meeting we will have to come up with an amount for a donation to the Bridgton Community Center for letting us hold our meetings here.
Denmark rally is day after ours. They always run a good rally. Blaine hopes we will support them.
Bill Preis mentioned trip to Jackman at the end of the month. There are still 6 rooms left.
Jim Medcalf mentioned trailer safety issue. Tilt bed (clam shell style) trailer has pivot bolts. These are aluminum trailers. Snow throw steel is encased. Over time, the aluminum turns to powdered mess. Doesn't take much to sheer bolts. Then, only thing connecting trailer is sheer pin. Either fix now or on the highway. Really a safety issue.
