President Blaine Chapman brought the meeting to order at 6:44pm. Treasurer’s
and Secretary’s reports were read and accepted.
Poker Rally: $858.85 profit. Next year we might want to do it at the Community
Center. That would save us $150. Prizes were great Robin Lemons won the $40 cash from Black Horse Tavern. She donated half back to the club. Laurie Boutelet donated snowmobile jacket for the auction.
Snack shack is all cleaned
up and packed up. Winter Carnival and Poker Rally covers cost of new shack. Jan suggested getting a four pot Bunn for
the snack shack. Blaine will get prices. We need to get one pot as lost one at Winter Carnival. Someone also suggested
getting a heat lamp for the French fries. Blaine will get prices. Hank mentioned that Blaine and Jan did an awesome job
on cleaning and organizing the snack shack. Jan mentioned a couple more totes are needed.
Carl questioned whether we would be
having a float in the 4th of July parade.
We are booked for next year at the Community Center for Fridays for our meetings. Sandra
suggested that we should book a Saturday at the Community Center for our Poker Rally for next year.
Steve questioned if we were going
to do anything in July. Hank suggested a popcorn machine might be a good idea in the summer time. Vic suggested renting
to start with.
Tuckers are all unhooked and ready to be covered. Signs need to be taken down. Maybe end of next week.
Blaine
suggested moving $10,000 to a 6 month cd. Richard made a motion and it was seconded.
Blaine mentioned he talked to Scott Ramsey
regarding an RTP grant (Recreational Trail) ITS 80 connecting to ITS80. We groom with sleds now. Tedious grant to
make out. Probably would cost $20,000. A decision will have to be made whether we do it or not if we can’t get the grant. Blaine will ask Scott if we can buy material this year to fix bridges next year.
